Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intermediate Care Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required, with at least 1 year of travel experience. License: Current and valid driver's license or state-issued ID required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, EKG Course/Telemetry test, NIHSS required. Must-Have: - Current critical care and telemetry experience. - Must be willing to float to meet facility needs. - No limits on license hits. - Must have 1 year separation from prior employment with the system. Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for an Intermediate Care unit. This position involves working night shifts. The nurse will be expected to manage a patient ratio of 4:1. Experience in critical care and telemetry is necessary. The nurse will be responsible for accessing and managing ports, BiPAP/CPAP management, and blood product administration. Provide care for ventilated patients and manage central lines and chest tubes. Interpret arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias. Manage cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration. Perform phlebotomy and PICC line management, and provide management for patients with renal failure. Wound care experience is essential. Candidates should ensure they have proficiency in charting systems. Flexibility to float to other areas when necessary is a requirement.
