All Saints Episcopal School Seeks substitutes that will guide our students on days when the teacher can not be there. to facilitate the work of the Lead Teacher and collaborate to deliver the strongest education and experience possible for the students in the classroom. While maintaining a meaningful support role in the classroom, the Assistant is expected to contribute to a positive and cohesive team, while nurturing and inspiring curious, confident, joyful learners.

Preferred qualifications:

· A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

· Previous classroom or student teaching experience

· Ability to be an innovative, collaborative and positive member of the school community

· Friendly, sociable and welcoming personality

Responsibilities include:

· Follow all school policies and procedure

· Follow the teacher’s plan

· Facilitate/Monitor students during class and other school activities

· Encouraging a positive classroom community

· Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized learning area

· Establish a strong rapport and a sense of authority with the students

· Communicate back to the teacher

· Expected attendance at yearly substitute training
