Job Position: Production Line Worker

Location: Yoakum, TX 77995

Pay Rate: $13.14/hr + $1 extra for Perfect Attendance

Shift: Day (Must have availability 6am-6pm/ until work is complete)


Position Summary

The Production Line Worker is responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the processing, packaging, and handling of meat products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role ensures all products meet company quality standards, food safety regulations, and production targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate production line equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform tasks such as trimming, cutting, weighing, labeling, packaging, and boxing meat products.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area following food safety, HACCP, and USDA guidelines.
• Inspect products for quality, accuracy, and consistency throughout production.
• Follow all company safety policies, including proper use of PPE and machinery lockout procedures.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily production goals.
• Report mechanical issues, product concerns, or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
• Assist with setup, cleanup, and equipment wash-down as required.
• Complete required documentation such as production logs, quality checks, and inventory counts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food manufacturing, meat processing, or general production is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work in cold or refrigerated environments.
• Ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Willingness to follow strict hygiene, safety, and food-handling procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.

Work Environment

• Refrigerated production facilities (temperatures may range from 32-45°F).
• Exposure to raw meat, cutting tools, and industrial machinery.
• PPE provided (e.g., gloves, smocks, hairnets, face shields).
• Frequent repetitive motion and standing.
