Role Description

Join the team as Twilio’s next Principal Product Manager: Talent Acquisition & Management Applications. This position is needed to lead the development and enhancements of our talent lifecycle applications across Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Employee Listening, such as Workday, Eightfold, and Qualtrics. The Principal Product Manager will work closely with Centers of Excellence (COEs) and program owners to drive innovative technical solutions and ensure timely delivery aligned with enterprise talent strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Platform Ownership
    • Own the product strategy and roadmap for talent lifecycle applications such as Workday, Eightfold, Qualtrics, HackerRank, and bespoke TA applications.
    • Partner closely with COEs, program owners, HR leadership, and other stakeholders to capture business needs, define success criteria, and align product vision.
    • Lead cross-functional teams through the full product lifecycle including requirements gathering, prioritization, development, testing, and deployment.
    • Translate business needs and priorities into clear product direction and capability roadmaps.
    • Provide product leadership for AI-enabled capabilities, ensuring alignment with business processes and policies.
  • Delivery Excellence
    • Provide clear direction on priorities, sequencing, and scope to delivery teams.
    • Lead definition of product requirements and capability design.
    • Champion Agile processes, participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning.
    • Own user acceptance testing (UAT) strategy and validation.
    • Lead and orchestrate proof-of-concept initiatives and pilot programs for new capabilities.
    • Partner with stakeholders to evaluate pilot outcomes and inform roadmap priorities.
    • Ensure compliance with organizational standards around data security, privacy, and governance.
  • Vendor & Customer Relationship
    • Build strong vendor relationships, managing third-party partnerships and integrations.
    • Analyze system performance and user feedback to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
    • Communicate product updates and changes effectively to stakeholders, end-users, and leadership.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in HR Technology, HRIS, or SaaS product management roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
  • Proven success leading complex Talent Acquisition technology initiatives in global enterprise environments.
  • Deep expertise with recruiting platforms such as Eightfold, Workday, or comparable ATS/CRM solutions.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts in recruiting, such as skills inference and matching.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end recruiting processes and how technology enables them.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority, manage competing priorities, and drive alignment.
  • Deep understanding of recruitment, talent development, workforce planning processes, and the technology that supports them.
  • Expert in Agile software development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing vendor partnerships and driving integrations across systems.
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to define and track KPIs.

Requirements

  • Certifications in product management (e.g., CSPO, PMP) or HRIS domains.
  • Familiar with AI-driven talent acquisition tools and assessment technologies.
  • Experience with UX design principles as they relate to enterprise HR systems.

This role will be remote and based in the East Coast, USA.
