To support patient-centered care, the full-time Managed Care Coordinator will initiate and process managed care insurance referral requests for patients, ensuring compliance with organizational policies while collaborating with primary care providers and patients in a hybrid work environment. Key responsibilities: Coordinate and process specialty care managed care referral authorization requests in compliance with contractual rules for multiple insurance payers Utilize various electronic technologies to efficiently initiate and manage a high volume of referrals Serve as a point of contact for patients and staff regarding managed care issues and facilitate communication with managed care payers Required qualifications: High School diploma or GED required License Medical Admin Assistant Certification preferred 1-3 years of related work experience required Experience with computer systems, including web-based applications and Microsoft Office applications
