About the Position Incumbent will serve as the classification action officer for the G1 DCS for Personnel and Logistics, HQ, U.S. Army Transportation Command (ARTRANS) and provide a full range of civilian personnel advice for key managers, developing guidelines on programs that are often complex and controversial. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes : (1) Applying OPM Classification Standards to accurately classify positions; (2) Managing and issuing classification evaluation decisions in compliance with established guidelines; (3) Analyzing position management and organizational structures to ensure efficiency and alignment with mission objectives; (4) Delivering training and providing oversight to classification staff and managers to maintain consistency and adherence to policies. This definition of specialized experience is typical work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12) Time in Grade Requirement Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12). #J-18808-Ljbffr
