Harvest Scale Operator

Location: Prosser, NE
Pay: $18.00/hour

Looking for a seasonal opportunity to earn extra income during harvest? We're hiring Harvest Scale Operators to join our team for the 2026 harvest season. This is a fast-paced position ideal for someone who is organized, dependable and comfortable working long hours during peak harvest.

Position Details

• Seasonal position lasting approximately 4-6 weeks
• Start date: September 8, 2026
• Hours vary and include early mornings, late evenings, weekends and extended shifts
• Expect to work 6-7 days per week during harvest
• Applicants must be available to work the entire harvest season with no planned time off

Job Responsibilities

• Weigh inbound and outbound grain using the scale system
• Grade and test grain and wheat
• Collect grain samples using a grain probe
• Operate moisture testing equipment
• Accurately complete required paperwork
• Answer phones and assist customers in a professional manner
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Computer experience required
• Strong reading, writing and basic math skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
• Good customer service and communication skills
