We have been engaged by a leading full-service Middle Market Investment Bank to assist in identifying top bucket, high performing, ambitious, sector experts in Energy. The firm has a vast, Financial Services and Corporate & Investment Banking platform. This firm has M&A, Financing and Equity capabilities, both ECM/DCM with a research desk. When it comes to industry focus, the firm is in every sector including Healthcare, Industrials, Aerospace, Defense, Banks, Insurance, Specialty Finance, Energy, Power & Utilities. They are currently looking to add several Investment Bankers with sector knowledge and deal experience in the Power & Utilities space. • Support transaction execution
• Assist senior Bankers in their Origination activities, pitches, decks and build long term industry relationships
• Work hand in hand with the Senior Energy MDs and VPs
• Advise on Buy/Sell side M&A activities as well as Capital Markets transactions
• ECM/DCM deal advisory
• Engage in the due diligence process of deals
• Financial modelling across transactional, strategic and internal processes
• Analyze market data and understand current market trends based on real time date
• Enthusiastic about the Energy, Power & Utilities Industry, being a market specialist in any sub sector will help you stand out as a candidate
• P&U M&A experience is a must with a track record of deals executed Requirements:
• BA/BS with a major in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field
• Anywhere between 2 yrs – 4 yrs of relevant experience, only Banking or combination of Investment Banking and Corporate Advisory
• Capital Markets/M&A Exp is a must from buy-side & sell side
• Licenses preferred are Series 7, 79 & 63
• Open to travel as needed by clients
• In office four days a week
• Minimum 2 yrs of Investment Banking experience in Energy
