Baker Training Program – Learn a Skilled TradeSave More Food Market is looking for motivated individuals interested in building a career in the bakery profession.Our Baker Training Program is a structured, hands-on development program designed to teach participants the skills needed to become a well-rounded retail baker.You do not need to already be an experienced baker. We are looking for dependable people who enjoy working with their hands, take pride in producing quality products, and are interested in learning a skilled trade.What You'll LearnParticipants will receive hands-on training throughout our bakery operation, including:Scratch and production bakingBreads, rolls and pastriesCakes, cupcakes and dessertsMixing, proofing, baking and finishing techniquesProper use of commercial bakery equipmentProduct preparation and presentationPackaging, labeling and merchandisingProduction planning and inventory managementFood safety, sanitation and proper cleaning proceduresQuality standards and consistencyCustomer serviceThe day-to-day operation of a successful retail bakeryThe goal of the program is not to train you for just one bakery task.
